Every October, Montpellier hosts Cinemed, the Mediterranean Film Festival: nine days of features, shorts and documentaries, mainly at the Corum (Opéra Berlioz, Pasteur and Einstein rooms) and Centre Rabelais, plus screenings in city cinemas.

One tram stop to the Corum
The main venues sit in the historic centre. From the apartment, tram line 4 (direction B) stops at the Corum, the very next stop, within a few minutes. Centre Rabelais, 29 boulevard Sarrail, is a two-minute walk. Close enough to come back between screenings.

How to get to the screenings
By tram (the easiest option) — line 4 from Les Aubes, direction B, stop Corum. For Centre Rabelais, get off at Corum and walk two minutes. Off-site screenings (Diagonal, Utopia, Nestor-Burma) are in the Écusson on foot or with a connection.
On foot — allow about 15 minutes to the Corum. Pleasant in daytime; at night the tram is more comfortable.
By car — do not plan to park around the Corum during the festival. Use the residence car park, then line 4.
